Non-Discrimination Policy

The Holding Frames, Inc. is committed to providing an environment that is free from discrimination and harassment in all of its programs, activities, operations, and employment practices.

The Corporation strictly prohibits discrimination against any individual or group on the basis of:

  • Race
  • Color
  • Religion or creed
  • Sex, gender identity, or sexual orientation
  • Age
  • Ethnicity or national origin
  • Marital or family status
  • Disability (mental or physical)
  • Veteran status
  • Genetic information
  • Or any other category protected by applicable federal, state, or local law

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to all aspects of the Corporation's operations, including but not limited to:

  • Recruitment and appointment of directors, officers, staff, and volunteers
  • Selection of contractors and consultants
  • Program design and delivery
  • Participation of community members
  • Access to the Corporation's services and facilities

Reporting a Concern

Any individual who believes they have experienced or witnessed a violation of this policy is encouraged to report it promptly. Reports can be made by contacting The Holding Frames at info@theholdingframes.org. All reports will be reviewed and addressed in a timely and confidential manner to the extent possible.

Non-Retaliation

The Holding Frames will not retaliate against any individual who, in good faith, reports a concern or participates in an investigation under this policy. Retaliation of any kind against a person for making a report or cooperating in an investigation is itself a violation of this policy and will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action.

Enforcement

The Holding Frames, Inc. will take immediate and appropriate action to address violations of this policy, up to and including termination of employment, removal from the Board, or discontinuation of volunteer or contractor relationships.
